This Siberian Elm piece has gone through quite the journey to get to its current destination. While it was still living as a tree, its roots found a home in the soils of New Mexico. Once uprooted, it was lovingly cared for by a craftsman, who when moving to Oregon, brought it up with him. Years later, the slab that provided this piece found its way to me, where I hope to honor its legacy in a new form.
