Jazz Quartet

Jazz Quartet
Jazz Quartet is named after the four most common saxophones played — Baritone, Tenor, Alto & Soprano — & despite obvious differences in their appearance & register, saxophone quartets have the uncanny ability to straddle the power stance of the brass world & the graceful fluidity of the winds in the music world. As a former alto saxophone musician myself, I will forever be in awe of the diverse range & sassy individualism this instrument family exudes.

These four pieces were woodturned from the same cross section of curly white oak in 2021. Lacquer-finished, these decorative pieces are not intended for use with food or liquids.
